My name is Liz and I am a model horse artist. I have always loved art and animals, especially horses. I discovered the world of model horse customization in 2023 and began my customizing journey immediately. Being the “crazy horse girl” growing up, who also loved to paint, this path was inevitable.

In the past, I had focused on black & white pencil and charcoal drawings, colorful oil paintings as well as pastel drawings, and animal/nature photography.

I have always gravitated towards realistic art, which has transcended to my work on model horses. I strive to create the most realistic representation possible, from the coat pattern, to the color, to any breed-specific traits.

I fell in love with the model horse community and all the amazing people and horses involved. I created “Serene Studios” with the help and support of my amazing husband in the summer of 2023. I hope to continue expanding my skills in painting, sculpting, and drastic customizing. I will also be growing my commissions business and possibly putting out customizing tutorials in the future.
